The manufacturing strategic agenda

The manufacturing strategic agenda aims to make the production of electronics, machinery, consumer textiles, technical textiles, wood and furniture circular.

The strategic agenda works around specific value chains for which different organisations are leading each time:

  • consumer electronics: Herwin and Agoria
  • professional electronics and machinery: Agoria
  • consumer textiles: OVAM and Creamoda
  • technical textiles: Fedustria and Centexbel
  • Wood and furniture: wood.be and Fedustria

NEWS

A Flemish circular manufacturing strategic agenda could contribute to €1.2 billion of additional added value and 12,000 new jobs for Belgium by 2030.

"Today, betting on growth through a circular business model is rather the exception and reserved for pioneers, by 2030, 1 in 2 Flemish manufacturing companies should be actively working towards a circular economy."
