Circular SMEs across Europe

A VIRTUAL TRIP THROUGH EUROPE

Circular SMEs across Europe is a virtual trip from region to region to show good practices from SMEs and different sectors. We will provide room for exchange on how to become circular and on success factors for a transition. You will get to know pioneers and exchange with like-minded companies on how to overcome the barriers you face. And – fingers crossed – we will hopefully be able to meet in person at the end of our travel in November 2022 at the Circular Economy Hotspot in Bottrop, North-Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Several European regions will host a series of virtual webinars and workshops for SMEs. Each event will focus on a different industry. SMEs from all regions are invited to participate and make use of cross-border networking opportunities.

On June, 4th Flanders (Belgium) hosts one of the travel stops, and puts the spotlights on circular construction. Get in touch with pioneering SMEs or get inspired to take your own first steps.

CIRCULAR CONSTRUCTION?

Circular construction strives for an efficient and effective use of resources. The aim is to create or at least maintain economic, social and ecological (added) value. During the construction process, the existing legacy and future opportunities specific to our construction world are taken into account. The past two years in Flanders we’ve been working together with over 320 constructions SMEs, researchers and government agencies to explore the barriers and opportunities of circular construction. It’s high time to share some insights.
