STOEMP Deluxe is a 100% veggie/vegan concept that prepares healthy meals with food that would otherwise end up in the bin. Belgium ranks second in Europe in the list of countries that throw away the most food. So time to do things differently. And whether that tastes good.

Every year, nearly 1.3 billion tonnes of food is thrown away. That is almost a third of total production and enough to feed 2 billion people. Belgium is an embarrassing second in Europe: we throw away an average of 173 kg of food every year. STOEMP Deluxe wants to change that, by turning these waste streams into (h)honest dishes such as stoemp, pastas, soups and smoothies.

What started as a veggie/vegan lunch service in its own business group, grew into a full-fledged shop in Hasselt thanks to all the positive reactions, as well as more and more points of sale and an online delivery service in Flanders. The menu changes every fortnight and depends on the residual flows available at that time from local (organic) farmers and partners, such as Hanos, Hof van Eef, the Limburg Potato Shop and Rodiers Groenten en Fruit. Fresh produce, short chain, local players, tasty food: that's what it's all about. All meals are also packed with a sealing machine under natural gasification, so you can keep them longer.

All dishes are 100% veggie or vegan, because STOEMP Deluxe stands firm against the harmful impact of animal products on the climate and against animal cruelty. By working with the best and tastiest plant-based meat substitutes and innovations, they aim to convince everyone of the benefits of plant-based cuisine. Eat good, feel good.
