JBC, now also second-hand for children

From second-hand corner to full second-hand shop in Olen

The Belgian clothing chain JBC can no longer be ignored. Every season, you can find clothes and accessories for the whole family. But did you know you can now also shop second-hand at JBC? What started with a second-hand corner in the existing shops has meanwhile grown into a complete second-hand JBC shop in Olen.

With JBC Op-Nieuw, JBC introduced a second-hand corner in all JBC shops in 2023, full of second-hand baby and children's clothes up to size 176, between €3 and €14. Because no one grows out of their clothes as quickly as children do. And it would be a shame to see all those barely-worn items just end up on the rubbish heap, while another child could still enjoy them just as much.

JBC Op-Nieuw proved a great success and paved the way for a full-fledged second-hand JBC shop. It opened its doors on 29 March 2024 in Olen, Antwerp. You will find clothes of the JBC, CKS and Fred+Ginger brands at market prices. All items are of course subjected to a thorough quality check first.

With these steps on the second-hand market, JBC wants to encourage the reuse of clothes. The brand also previously introduced double name tags, on which the name of the new owner can be written after the item is passed on. Pop-up swap events complete the circular picture (for now). Because clothes that fit and feel good deserve to be worn extra long!
