Matching residual flows to recover nutrients

This project aims to examine the potential synergies between the manure processing plant at Ieperse Truckwash (located in Langemark) and the industrial fermentation plant at Waterleau in Ypres. We are focusing primarily on nutrient recovery through the processing of each other’s waste streams, but we will also explore opportunities in the area of energy and water.
